The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and Alpha Kappa Psi are putting on a car show. Help a brother out. An AKPsi brother that is. :) I'm definitely participating.

Friday, August 5th 7:30 pm - Midnight
Registration is 6 - 7:30 pm
$10 registration fee if you want to enter your car. Free otherwise.
It is in the Sun Dome parking lot.

FYI: There will be two DJs and concessions so you won't have to go hungry.

yea i dont know my clutch just broke when i was driving NORMAL, not even racing so I dont know wtf happened but w/e i should have the car back monday or tuesday so by then i should be able to go to the show

I'll be out there wasn't sure if this was still happening, should be cool it's a HUGE parking lot hopefully you fill it!

Yes. It is definitely still on. All are welcome to participate and compete. I'm entering the M Roadster that is pictured on the flyer so look for me. :) I'll also probably be working the event.

Ill definitly be there . anyone wanna met up at the 7/11 on dale mabry next to econo paint n dunkin donuts ? me n a couple friends r meeting up there before we head over there. just look for the 2 crx's n a green hatch. We'll be there at 8 give or take a few minutes.

They should have planned it during the Fall or Spring semesters when people were in school and it could have been easily promoted. Oh well.

The show turn out pretty good. Even though not too many people came cause of the weird weather we had. Hopefully next year they'll put one out again and have a better turn out next time.

They are considering one in January. It was basically a wash as far as fundraising for our organizations. However, we broke about even and a large turnout would definitely make it a worthwhile event.

Yeah, the weather didn't help. I got rained on right after I washed my car. I was sure it was going to rain like hell again until about seven and the clouds stayed south.
