Quick encounter with a 350z on the highway a couple nights ago. It was Dayton blue and looked/sounded stock.


We went from around 70mph, up to 130mph. By the end I had a good 4cars on him.... We played cat and mouse along with mcs05's Mini for a while then went our seperate ways....

nice kill. stock 350s are easy prey for the STi

What about the brand new 350z's with 300hp? Anyone know how they compare to a stock STi?

i didnt know there is a 300hp model. not sure. ill try one out though

WOOO! that is new news to me, i defintally didnt know that they now came with 300hp.

Actually it was more along the lines of 2 cars, but thats okay....Got the end of it on video.....Overall the vid in mcs05 car is okay, needs somemore work.....I did our average speed, and it was like 88mph.....Thats why it took so little time to get back...lol

the older z32 300z twin turbo 91-96 US they run like 13.7 stock

Nice kill, the new 300hp 350z is the same motor just slightly retuned to shift the powerband higher, they lost a noticable amount of low end power but peak power is increased as well as the redline up to 7000rpm, mine redlines at 6600rpm.

the older z32 300z twin turbo 91-96 US they run like 13.7 stock

would be a close race. the average STi runs 13.2s stock if they can launch it

That was a fun night. the cop behide us was a close call. thought we was going for the 350.

Maybe a little more?....350z, STI, and Mini Cooper S.....Hum....Not to mention the riced out 350z that hung with us for about 2 miles...:lol:
