GSR hatch vs srt4 vs conquest tsi vs prelude

Well, to start off.. i havent actually been out to the "races" in at least 2 months. So i decide to meet up with some people down at Gandy to see what everyone does now...

So we are sitting there for a while, then finally leave to go to "Tampa West" and on the way there, this prelude decides he wants to try and race me.. We're goin over the bridge and he starts going, then im like fuck it, so i get on it, and i never caught up (3rd gear sucks for me). So now hes all bragging and shit that he beat me blah blah.. So we get to tampa west, and we decide to run again..

1st of the 2: We go from a dig, both of us get a decent jump, and i put about 2 cars on him easily.
2nd of the 2: Again, from a dig.. i get an even better jump and instantly put a car on him, then end up beating him by about 3 cars.
I dont know what was done to it, but it was an older one (like a 94) it had an intercooler, but he said he wasnt running turbo or some shit.. it was funny seeing his face after i beat him 2 times in a row pretty badly..

Anyways, after a while of driving around, and some drama at the gas station.. we end up in some ghetto ass spot in the middle of butt fuck ghetto tampa. Everyones standing around, im standing by my car, so one dude asks me if i wanna run this Chrysler Conquest turbo thing.. I say yes, even though i think im gonna lose..

So we line up, both of us get on it.. i get a decent jump, his isnt bad either.. he had me about halfway through first till i hit vtec, then i put about 2 cars on him.. Hes all pissed, so we run again.. This time both of us get a better jump.. he has me through first, then when i hit 2nd i took off, putting about a car and a half on him, with it staying like this the whole way. He told me he had a new turbo put on it, and it was sprayed.. but they didnt use the bottle on me..

Now the last run was kind of a joke (well it was supposed to be..) This guy with a built srt-4 (i was told it was dynoed at 289 to the wheels or something) So i laugh and say fuck it because i never decline a race.. We line up.. And to mine and everyones surprise, i jump out by 2-3 cars instantly, and it stays this way till we hit 3rd, then he caught back up then we had to shut down.

Everyone was in awh.. it was the funniest shit ive ever seen. a gsr hatch beat a built srt4.. he asked to run again, but i said no :lol:

So yea, that was my night.. pretty fun for the first night back.

Alright let me get this straight. Volcom say he beat me bad. hahaha!!! This is exactly what had happen. This was my first time street racing, and Volcom was my first race. I lined up and didn't rev the RPM up, but Volcom was. Once the flagman said go, my car just total died off the line, then started to go. Once I just got in my 3rd gear, I passed him before we even got to the end of the road. I told him if he want to run again he said, nah I know your car is fast.Why he say that, when on the this forum he say I'll run another srt-4. :dunno: Anyway, I also ran the conquest and beat him about 3 1/2 car length then he gave up before we got to the end of the road. Then ran him again, he gave up when I got it 2nd gear.
For Cold Beer quote, yeah I did say, I don't street race, but when you are out there in action, it's hard not to say no to race. hehe!!

Yeah its funny that different people see different things when we are racing.I would think that everyone would see the same thing and if my mind serves me correctely the guy with the hatch agreed to race sayin "oh he is just going to beat me anyways" and then we all said "hey its just for fun". I have been racing a long time and think its funny that people say they win when they don't. I personally saw all of these races and the SRT Boostin-Neon won all of his races. He is right in the respect that he beat him off of the line but the SRT bogged down on the line and still caught up and won. Funny..... :wtf:
