hey everyone, a few people including myself have decided on getting together for a meet on the 20th of august, everybody who owns a deuce needs to be there

Were going to meet up at RaceRock on I-drive at about 12noon, have a good lunch, say whats up to everyone, show off our MR2's, afterward ride over to FunSpot for a day of kicking ass on go karts, (all day armband is 29.95 + tax), and when everyone is exhausted were going to head down to Point Orlando and have an evening meal at Hooters and do some wondering around

we want this to be a good turnout, everyone loves MR2's, everyone loves go karts so there should be no reason why this cannot per sway you to come

call as many people with MR2's as you can, all gens welcome of course

wich ever comes first really dont care either way.Mark, what time do you usually leave work 5-6 ish? The evening would be a better time for myself as well , I usually work at least a half on day Saturdays as well, no go for Sundays Im usually committed to something.

Well I just had the clutch go in my mr2 this weekend so I wont be doing anything until I get it taken ut and put in a new one with t/o bearing. I might make the one on the 20th though.

Just to re-cap,

Will this be every Sat night around 10:00pm at Best Buy parking lot off of 275 and Dale Mabry?

Please confirm so I can make plans, I've been going to Publix in Lakeland and its kinda slow. I was the only MR2 there until this past Saturday when another MR2 showed up.

In any case, I rather be meeting with a group of MR2 peeps so we can talk about parts that I can actually use. A bunch of people talking Honda parts just doesnt do it for me...! :dunno:

BTW, is there an organized MR2 group in Tampa anymore?

Yeah only one mr2 and a bunch of vdubs, wtf??????? The best part was when the rice crew showed up and made their own little meet in another section of the best buy parking lot. Then some honda's rolled by and didn't pay any attention to the supra's or vdubs, just stopped to look at one civic that was with us.

Although there were many VWs that night, the best in show was a Toyota by far.... Check it:

It was a little white Toyota pickup truck sporting a 3gen Supra TT motor! yeah, Wow!

Anyways, I think I'll stay in Lakeland for now... Tampa to far.

yea the ricers definatly messed up things, they are so inconsiderate to everyone around them. but yes....gotta love when the ricers dont look at all the other cars that were there. I'm used to it with my car, not many pay attention to it, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing, stealth
