OK its like this; My G/F's mom has a 1966 Chevy El Camino and an '81 elky. Both have been sitting for like 5-10 YEARS, in a field so both a frame off restoration. Now, mom says whoever restores the '81 gets the '66 for free. Mind you, the 81 has a bone stock 350/350 and the '66 has a 327/Powerglide(we think). I offered this deal to my dad who took it. After agreeing to the deal we found a '79 Malibu Wagon with a fully built 350 and built 350 tranny. The motor and tranny have less than 20k on them. So now my dad and I are looking at swapping the bodies of the 81 elky and the malibu. In the end linda will have a fully built 81 el camino, my dad will get the 66, and I will end up with basicly stock wagon with potential. Doesnt seem to bad of a deal to me as dad and I will both get cars for basicly labor and time. What do ya'll think?
