Im the first nissan guy to see this thread. I will admit, we are not the fastest car in a str8 line(15.2 is the fastest time slip Ive ever seen for a bone stock, with a fully bolted engine though mid to low 14's are attainable, turbo'ed ones are running right with the SRT 4's in the 13's), but for 18000, you cant beat the bang for the buck. AND, if your lookin to do autocrossing, then the Spec V is deff for you, alot of fun.

But the real question is, do you want to be seen and known for driving a neon??? :thumbdwn: :asshole:

It was in a ditch. It slid off of a dry road and took out a guard rail.

I say neither, spend 5 grand more and get an EVO...MR? the stripped down one w/ no wing, etc etc and the extra LSD, then you get the best of both worlds, 2nd choice is the neon though, too bad new cars cost so much these days, otherwise I might actually buy one

Ummmm, usually when shit starts breaking you fix it. And no most of us that post on thevboard.com would be the guys that know a thing or two about how to fix a simple problem. And as far as warrantys go, yall are in the same boat as we are, if you start moddin shit then the dealership starts checkin off on there list whatever they think they dont need to worry about on your car anymore since you decided to mod it.

And as far as the handling? I could say that I saw a neon flipped in the middle of an intersection today, what difference does it make, shit happens and people get into accidents. If your not responsible with a car you'll end up in an accident irregardless of what make/model it is. In this case, both cars are the top models of a car offered by both companys, and most people when they get a Sentra SE-R Spec V or a Neon SRT 4 they suddenly think there the shit and can drive like dale earndhart.

We both have economy cars tuned to be factory beasts, except yours is slow and ours is fast. You say your car is better, I say put it up against any SRT-4 on here, mine if you'd like. Reliability on this car is as good if not better than most cars, anyobdy that pulls the "neon" crap is just plain ignorant. I'm glad you bought a Sentra and not a Neon.

Im glad I bought a sentra too, it looks good imo(once I de-bucktoof mine of course). So we have diff opinions. Im happy with my car and I hope your happy with yours.
2nd, I didnt have the money to spend on an SRT4, nor would I want one, domestics just dont rub off on me Ive had 1 b4 and thats all it took to convince me to go to the imports.
And 3rd, as far as it being slow, in a str8 line, yes, all day long I will be watchin your tailights go by me whether it be from a dig or a roll.
