alpine dvd player wallpaper

ok on my new apline iva-d310 I can go to the alpine site and get wallpapers for the unit, to replace the standard blue. The ones they have are ok, but I want to know if there is something that will let we use any jpeg, bitmap, etc, and convert it to the proprietary .apn format. I want to put up whatever I want and I am sure someone has found a way, please let me know.

Shit if you find out let me know, I highly doubt it, there is no internal memory on the unit. Good luck though, if you find a way let me know.

there is enough internal memory to hold the walpaper but only one at a time, you have to load it from a cd-r/rw each time you want to change it, but once it is loaded it stays ( untill you disconnect the battery ).
