I'm thinking about taking the old SS down there to see what my '72 1/2 ton 350 runs. Anybody else going?

IIRC BMP is closed during most of July.... but I think they open on the 17th for runday sunday. (edited to make my post more clear)

This is True... the sign out front states that they are closed for the month of July... must be nice.

Sunshine is still open though.

Because they are going to try and resurface the entire track after they scrape it down smooth. It was starting to develop ruts.

Plus it is the hottest most rained out month of the year so why pay staff to be there ?

Sucks they are closed but i'm going to definately make it out on the 17th for fun day run day sunday. Hopefully the new track will be nice.

Hey im new to this area and i am wondering where i can run a 1/4 mile ?

Bradenton is the closest to Tampa, but as mentioned above is closed for July. Orlando Speedworld would be the next closest to go to.
