03' Tib here lots of mods see my intro page for details....There arent many tibs on this site that I know of I will be coming up in about two weeks to check out your area maybe find a few races so I can show off the supercharger!!

I believe he has a custom setup however Nextgen should be releasing a stealth turbo kit pretty soon look on the NT.com under the sponsor section there is pletty of info there.

Labmixz maybe we will have to see how the s/c and turbo compare...Hope everything goes smooth for yah!

Ya, I'm doing a full custom kit this time around, I had the first production GUDE Turbo kit before...

ps, Zero - If you wanted to do a turbo setup, I'd suggest against it... LOL... only cause it cost too much damn money to have a reliable setup... But hopefully I'll be good after I get everything done this time around...

i had my tib for like 1-2 months now and soon i'll be getting a intake and some mufflers, i don't have much money right now so im not really doing much. and i was wondering where do people gather around here, other then gandy.

I really didn't think anyone would still hang out there...

Well man, we have meets in orlando, about a year ago we use to have monthly tib meets at Gator Nationials for test & tune at the track in Gainesville... Now there's not much going on as far as tib meets go... I'm sure when I get my car back up and running I'm going to organize more meets... probably Brandenton Motorsports meets for test & tune...

Right now waiting on the new spoiler, new hood, new turbo kit, new caliper for the rear passenger, new power steering tensioner pulley, new power steering belt... lol

well, I have the poer steering stuff, the hood & spoiler are otw, turbo kit is scheduled, and caliper will be here today... lmao... but... when the car is fully up with the turbo is when I'll start being a little more active in organizing meets again.

look what i found at newtiburon.com. Info: "This is a quick DIY for fixing the problem with the stock sub...since the factory wired it up out of phase (backwards). This mod gives u better sound and better bass.

Total Time: 5-15 mins...but it really depends on how long it takes you to remove the wires and swap them...

word of advice for tib owners... NEVER DO YOUR REAR BRAKES... take it to the fking shop... gdamn it I HATE rear disc brakes... but their finally done, one new caliper and a annoyance later...

Anyone else having issues with their headlights getting that crappy crackling in the plastic??? Think the warranty will cover that? I took out the orange corners in the front - hopefully they don't notice...

They'll notice, it's a pretty common problem... just about everyone that had done clear corners has had the problem... and alot of people who haven't done the cc mod... you could try sticking the orange back in and taking it do the dealership, just make sure not to do a sloppy reseal job... they'll notice...

I'm on my second set of headlights already tbh... paid $75 for 2 stock headlights last time... cc'd em and painted em black...

This is the first time I have ever read about the headlight cracking problem I guess I must be living under a rock and didnt know about this lmao... mine are fine I did them about a yr ago when does this problem start to occur?

I also just changed all of my brake! took me about 2 hours total was kinda a pain but I would rather have to deal with the 2hrs of cusing and bitching then having to pay someone to do such an ez project.. I have learned a little patients puts alot of money in the bank! that is if you have the time lol...

The Tib comunity is growing I see!!! This is a good thing!! Now all you N/A Tibs need to get boosted!!!

I'm about to un-do the clear corners and take it up there. 6 year warranties are the shit!

The thing is, the crackling was occuring before I did the baking of the headlight, but it's seemed to have gotten way worse since I did it. The best way to do it is once you get it open and apart, wait for the stuff to dry, then scrape it off mostly then just re-seal the headlight with some Black RTV sealant... RTV is the shit! << but it is second best to six year warranties being the shit mind you. Six year warranties are the real shit. RTV is the secondary shit...

nevermind the cc mod question i figured it out but still don't know what N/A is

N/A would stand for Naturally Aspirated meaning there is no nitrous turbo or superchargers there all motor cars and they are achieving pretty close to 230whp pretty ealisy with Cai, headers, catback exhaust, cams and ecu. it is a more expensive way to the achieve power.. I would advise looking at some type of forced induction be it nitrous, turbo, s/c.. it is cheaper in the long run.. especially if your try to get in the 300whp-500whp range!!

IMO a good way to start modding the tib is clutch and light weight flywheel because the factory shit cant take any beating.. then CAI, Headers(unless planning on a turbo setup) and exhaust, maybe some plug wires and spark plugs.. then move on to maybe s/c,turbo or nos setup.

highly doubtable for me, since my car is going in the shop on the 11th for the turbo install, however it will be out of the shop on the 12th... BUT only way I'm going to Tibathon is if my new N1 Hood comes in before Friday... lol... then I'll show up for the last two days of tibathon...

Its been a while since ive been on the forums, busy working. a couple days ago i painted my brake calipers and got new brake pads and put them on myself. i know this isn't important but i had nothing better 2 say.

I got SSA headers for 250 shipped you should be able to pick some up around 200-220 range also have custom single exhaust 2.5" I paid $140.00 then bought an hks carbon muffler for $72.00 shipped. I will take some pics if you would like.

so whats everyone up 2? i enjoyed my lil weekend that went by fast

My weekend sucked I just bought falken azenis sports for $400.00 shipped and now I have to replace two (front left) I got a nail in it 2nd day after install and had to plug it, (left rear) has 5 nails one being in the sidewall. so to play it on the safe side I am getting two new ones I should have gotten the road hazard!!! I am looking at drag radials now BFgoodrich I know they wont last long thogh.

On another note: I raced a 05' SRT-4 with just blowoff valve and burned his ass all the way to 130 then shut down the fucked with a modded 99' lighting got to 110 then he let off I think he was sad being 3 cars back and me pulling hard. I dunno what was done but that charger was 3 times louder then mine, so that was fun both were from a roll..I want to smoke this c5 bastard that rolls around here he is cocky yelling "ricer" then turning off into a neighborhood I think after the drag radials I am going to stake out and wait for his car. lmao he cant drive worth a shit he almost lost to my friend n/a rx-7 hahahahaha loser just goes to show money isnt everything.

Just seeing how everything is going?

My stage 2 was delayed because TC didnt have my fuel rails ready and he was trying to finish up Tibby03's car... I am recieving my stuff this week Wednesday I think? (FPR, STAGE 2 FUEL RAILS, 290CC INJECTORS, Temp Mafterburner setting's to gimp to Nextgen) I will be installing this Friday night and goin to Ft. Lauderdale Sat morning sometime to dyno tune.. Then I may be picking up some more parts (6.5' Crank pulley, Ice box) two weeks after that and retuning I hope to make something like 300whp @ 10psi with this setup!!! Crossed fingers!!!

After this I will be working on looks..Saving for Carbon Fiber hood from mussa and either the Baron lip kit or Ark Tech. and paint.....
