Got tired of looking at her naked... decided to put most the body work back on.
Still have the boost creep problem though...

I'll be there as the gates open with a cooler full of ice and drinks.

What exactly do you mean by boost creep?

Hope the weather holds out for ya. I'm out need to make some minor repairs to the body, got a crack at one of the mounting points.

The boost is creeping past the expected psi based on the waste gate spring.
I removed the boost controller and have it running solely from the waste gate and it sill rises above the springs limitation.

Example:
With a 6lb spring it should create up to a maximum of 6psi.
Currently, with a 6lb spring, it continues to create boost in excess of 20psi.

I say creep because it does not necessarily "shoot" up to 20psi unless you wrap the thriottle wide open.
I am currently short shifting to keep from over boosting.

Hey man I saw you run last week, That thing is pretty sick.
Your first run was on one tire. I was in the slow black mr2 that sounds kinda like your bike. Couple of friends and i are going to bradontan tomarrow(TTSupra, TTrx7, and some other cars)You should come out.

Tonight was personally disappointing...

My bike was breaking up terribly bad... couldn't do anything with it.
Tried a few things... no love.
I'll figure it out... and as Arnold would say... "I'll be back..."

kinda funny there was like 7 LT1's there and their were all stock, 3 LS1's and they we're all nicely modded

the ls1s at the track were pretty serous cars. didnt run for shit last night but we were just in a hang out mood. all in the 7s on radials n/a.

1 of 3 things. the port to the wastegate isnt big enough, the dump tube is restricted, or it isnt long enough. a friend of mine had bad boost creep on his integra when he didnt have a dump tube bolted tot he wastegate, just had it flat open. we put a 7in long tube on it with a 45deg bend(to clear his dp), and the problem went away, sounds stupid, but thats what fixed it. guess the pipe helps the scavenging.
