sorry guys don't have any video, forgot to set my dvr box, but i watched it by a friends house on g4tv. it was absulutely amazing. taka aono driving the 160hp 20v blacktop ae86 ate up the competition consisting of 500+ hp 2005 mustang, infinity g35, nissan s13 and more. best moment came in the finals when the 160 hp ae86 went up against the 505 hp dodge viper srt-10. they must have went like 4 rounds guys, cuz the race was so close. and the viper didn't even really WIN. taka in the ae86 had to forfiet because his car was beginning to overheat. i don't know if anyone caught this but it was pretty good. here's some stats on the ae86

Just goes to show, that when the AE86 is put in its environment, it can be a very successful competitor.

Unfortunately the tight and sharp courses of last weeknd in texas are rarely seen on the forumla D circut.

The 86 puts up a good fight, but so far the high HP cars are working them over in the tandem competitions on larger circuts like road atlanta.

+1 awesomeness for Taka.

Its been kinda wierd watching the evolution of more high power domestics into the comps, but Taka did do a great job.
