Does anyone know about much a 98 lexus gs 400 would cost? the car has about 80000 miles and is in pretty good condtion!!

Depends on condition and options.

I would say around 15K-16K if it is in mint shape and has Xenon's, 17's, Spoiler, and NAK or NAV. Private party buys are best here... 1st or 2nd owner cars...

There are quite a few at auction in not so great shape that can be had for less.

Great car at any price... Modding is expensive for these cars but there is a TON of parts for upgrade (even CF hoods)

Engine @ 80K is just getting broken in :-D

I seriously doubt it. Maybe in it's first couple of years...

The car has a great accident record with very few deaths... and has front side airbags... like I said, I actually get a safe vehicle discount for it on my insurance which I have never gotten on any vehicle I have owned.

But keep in mind, it is a V8 and expensive to repair. Most small repairs are not to bad if you a mechanically inclined. There are many DIY's and folks over at clublexus that can walk you through and give advice to everything from changing small lights to installing a Supercharger...

Actually, lost the family cat... thanks for asking.

The family is OK with it already... my daughter never liked her much... my wife and I were upset to have to make the choice to put her down but that's how it goes with pets... ran me over $300.00 to find out she was dying of old age (kidney failure) and have her put to sleep.

What sucks is a week later (this week) my dog had to have some minor surgery... $400.00 later... but she is doing well.

So $700 in 2 weeks at the Vet... :mad:

i have a 98 gs400. insurance is REALLLY high. im paying $700 just for 1-WAY. not full coverage. i cant afford full coverage so i settled for the reliability. its a nice car tho. fast tooo...V8. i raced a gsr and whooped it hahah..
