The fact that this thread is at three pages amazes me, and almost 90% of it is people flaming us, One person got a hair up their ass, and made a stupid post about it, I tried to post telling people this, but the flaming just continued.

As for giving the drifting community a bad name, We try our best to try and keep drifting as clean as possible, shit happens. I highly dought that this thread or our group is going to ruin the community or make it more "mainstream" You people are all worried about that, I understand why, but seriously? Anyone that was at HIN orlando already knows drifitng is becomming mainstream, they were handing out DVDs to everyone that came in with clips for drift bible, and other clips of keiichi drifting.

We try to get to know the rest of the community and let people know that we aren't a bunch of ricers trying to fuck this shit up. Sorry we haven't met everyone, but hopefully we will.

The starter of this post has already been told that this was a stupid move back when this shit was still on page one.

What the hell is the problem? Bill, That is exactly how we formed our group. We all knew each other for other friends, then we started hanging out alot. And again, Banzai isn't REALLY a "drift group" its just a group of friends that are into cars, Mostly 240's but we have a front wheel drive or two. :-P

Like I have been trying to say, I, and the rest of the group didn't intend to be introduced this way either, but one of my friends decided to come in here and make a post about it. I wish that it could have been done differently.

As for the "sliding in a parking lot near you." Thats the part that pissed me off the most about the post. We slide anywhere we can, We're all just trying to get better. Me and forcefeds13 came out to aburndale the first night to spectate, and he was going to come back the next day to participate, but things didn't work out in our favor.

I'm pretty much done with this thread, I'll make responses to peoples posts, and what not. But I'm going to stop responding to any hating.

Oh and as for Angela, I like the sound of "Drift groupie" :-D

And my once cam is a peice of shit, because its not running right now, because I had to change the chassis harness out, now I'm running into problem after problem. Trust me I know that the motor is good enough to drift on, and since its rebuilt I can get alot of practice on it. Oh and I don't plan on having an SR20 in my car ever. KA24DE 4 Life

None of us are Japanese, but I don't see how thats relevent, because BANZAI originated in Korea, I belive it didn't make an appearance in Japan until the 1900's, Not trying to be a "Poser" with it, but I liked the meaning, and we sure do like screaming it when we slide. Its a wagon, holds all my comprehensive toolbox, a jack, drinks, etc, it's stealth for scoping spots, has AC and full interior, and has a big enough trunk to serve as a bed. Calling it a "drift car" right now would be a stretch, but its getting coilovers and diff in about a week (and tires that are shorter than 215-70 sidewall).

If you get concerned with what anybody here has to say, then you're not really lifers anyway. Do what you do because you love it.

BTW - I'm not trying to one-up you guys or anything.

The more correct term such as "repair service truck/van" is more recognized. "Drift ambulance" refers more as a van that transport human being that's been injuried and such. Well since that van is used as a mobile repair service, then thats cool, but please dont call it a "Drift ambulance."

Is there a need to have that van? Just keep your tools in the drift cars, then settle it in your drift area if the load is too much. You can fit all those equipment in a full size truck bed. Is there a need for a tire rack? Smart drifters travel light. Heavy load weigh you down and make you slow. If that van is used at drifting events, then i see a need for it. Dont want a big ass van following behind at your illegal drift spots.
