My 1995 Stock GSR vs: ALL [Archive]

Well i brought my car out for the first time in a long time last night.
It's completly stock motor wise, not even bolt on's. for some reason it's quick though.

so anyway, i ran a 4.6 black mustang gt with flowmasters, chrome cobra rims, i dont know what it has done but it was a good run. we both take off normal at the light and roll onto the gas. first gear is even, second gear pretty even, and third i started to pull. very close race, gave the thumbs up and was off.

went out to the races last nite and ran a 96 red gsr with i guess just an exhaust. got it on the launch and just left it there.

then raced a 98 red gsr w/ intake/header/exhaust. had the wings west kit and was slammed, looked pretty good. when lining up with it, a shaved 92-95 white eg with a 96-98 front end pulls up, i dont know what it has but it's some sort of bseries-vtec motor. beat the gsr pretty bad, and beat the eg by a car or so, and still pulling.

I wouldnt say that was gsr vs all??. You didnt race me. but good runs tho. I flew past you when i was in the camera car for the lightning vs roush. I dont know if you saw me. I like your wheels tho it makes me miss mine. Ill see ya out and about maybe we can do a few digs or something. see ya man.

haha.. i didn't expect to beat the gt, i even told my girl in the passenger seat to prepare for a loss :lol: but yeah, he defenatlly didnt miss a gear, it was a good clean race and he gave the thumbs up

and yeah, it's really stock :naughty:

4.6l mustangs run 15's. the other cars you raced have similar motors as you etc..

your car is slow as balls... go try racing a stock 01 GT or stock lt1/ls1 fbody.

I could beat a 4.6l mustang in my sisters "STOCK" GTP... jesus...

I'm glad your happy with your car though, that's all that counts.

well if i was racing 15+ second cars it'd take a natural diaster not to pull out a victory.

my point is, get some real competition.

I think the Title to your thread is real cocky and I could teach you a lesson in being cocky in my freaking sisters stock ass pontiac GTP so take all the complements from these people to heart because if you lose to races and the car your racing is stock, your car sucks. :asshole:

My SS isnt stock, but it probably wouldnt matter. I ran 13.4 @ 107 off the showroom floor right down to the paper air filter, I've yet to see a GSR or any honda for that matter put down those numbers.

now it'd be pointless.... LS1's adapt well to bolt ons bolt ins and bottles. :)

wow, you have the fastest stock ls1 on earth.

I frequent ls1, ls2.com Camaroz28.com etc... read super chevy etc.. and the best I've ever seen recorded was a 99 Z28 with DR's run 12.8.

I can vouch for his times with just the lid and tires....I dont think you ever got a clean run on the spray did you Ryan....His car has pissed off many people cause he pops the hood after racing someone and all thats not stock is the lid:lol:

not sure, my stock rear end is too weak to use drag radials.

it's not the fastest car in the tampa by any means....

but a full bolt on, cammed, sprayed, geared ls1 SS can hold it own against most.
