cobra vs saturn redline and 2 GT's

i was heading south on dale mabry from van dyke. a guy in a saturn redline(supercharged) wants to run. we went from a 50 or so roll. i was in 4th and did not shift. he start out ahead and i quickly made up the difference. the next run was from about the same speed and i started in 3rd a quickly put several cars on him and shut down. he is on this site he was a cool guy. we also did a dig run and that was even worse. i had a bus on him by 60.

he had 2 mustang GT's with him and they wanted to run also. they both sounded pretty nice, i ran them both several times and had multipul cars on them before we cleared the intersection.

this is the same redline the posted on here that he beats gt's and both guys said he was faster then they are. the mustangs had minimul(sp) bolt-on and i am stock ofcourse. all the guy were cool. we meet at gas station and shot the shit for a while. it was a pretty good night.

he rolls up next to me then tells me to take the hit and I look at him like "seriously?" he insists and I put a lot of cars on him. then he rolls back up and this time honks and I get on the gas and let off so I make sure he takes the hit and proceed to put many lengths on him again.

I am well know. just not for the good stuff. Adam's mustang can only beat me from a 50roll anything under i pwn him. I did happen to beat him from a 50-and-55 roll the other night but i think he broke shortly after im not sure. but im getting better on the 50roll now im learning still. I raced sam from a50 or so roll and i was stock he quickly pulled as i shifted to 3rd at75 maybe 3 cars in the rain by the way on low boost. but now im about 3 cars faster then i was stock. i know i'll loose but ill loose less. I know lossin is loosing but hey it makes me feel better.

My poor lil ole '93 Saturn w/ 180k on the engine only runs low 15's. I would like to see your car at 180k (if it still has the original engine and not rebuilt) and see how she does. I don't really think it will make it that far w/ out a rebuild though. Oh yeah, I get 34 mpg too and....I don't have door dings. See, I can act like a kid too *sticks tongue out*

a little fyi...a box stock gt runs a 14.1 intake and exhaust...u got ya self a high 13 second car, and it also depends on what stock mustang ur talkin about...ur ion is the fastest of the saturn bunch...ours would be the cobra...ask colin how well he did against the cobra with throttle body steeda cold air intake box and mass air and a 2.83 pulley...now as for ur saturn...i see track times as a 15.9 15.7 15.0 with a blower...and no i do not think nothin can beat my car...i know there is WAY faster cars out there than what i have...and the only one being childish here...is you

don't underestimate the power to weight ratio. There are plenty of four bangers putting down great e/t's with 200hp or less....n/a.
