Ok i was putting in my head unit last night got everything wired up turned on the car and nothing, but it was wierd because the unit would take and eject a cd it just wounldn't turn on. So we took the wiring harness out and put in my brothers car to see if my head unit would work in his car and of course it did so i know there is something wrong with my car so we check all the fuses and of course that wasnt the problem. i really think i might be the main harness to the car but i dont know.............................................. ....................... basiclly i am asking if there is anyone who can or knows anyone who can do wiring in a car that i take my shit to because i sure dont know. I've been hear about this neil guy but i have never met him so neil if you see this please help me out.

Ive been on here a while and never heard of any Neil's. But any shop should be able to narrow down and find the problem in about 2 min with a multimeter, just take it in and throw an installer a few bucks to check it out real quick, i know that works for me at CC.

Get a digital multimeter and test your constant (yellow) and ignition (red) and ground (black) wires. I'm guessing one of those is faulty.
