Hook up remote start for my car? I already have an alarm and a remote that should be able to do it (clifford matrix with the pager). It is stick but I never leave it in gear, I just pull the ebrake. I dont want a half ass hack job either, I want it to be clean. How much would it cost too? for the parts and for the labor?

you definitely want to have some kind of security so you dont start in gear. Trust me, whether you JB Weld something to the shifter assembly itself or whatever. All it takes is 1 mistake. Seriously.

I could do it if I was in Tampa, but I doubt you want to come to Gainesville for me to install it. Not sure if Sound Advice is allowed to install on 5 speeds, I know Circuit isnt, but if so stop by and talk to John.

I just need to find someone to do it, I NEVER put it in gear so if thats to hard to put some time of thing to make sure it doesnt start in gear, i dont need it. I would like it though. But can anyone else do it, and a price?

If your free tomorrow (wednesday) i can do it, im in palm harbor right now and will only be here til tomorrow night. I would need to start on it in the morning if at all possible. And Id need to go get diodes from the circuit city where i used to work. Id probably charge like 80ish depending on how hard the car is once i start workin on it.

p.s. if you do end up replying to this and i do it tomorrow, i have no tools here to make a device so it doesnt start in gear. all my tools are at the gainesville cc, i only brought a select few home with me, which will only be enough to do the remote start.

your time is up...not only am i out for the night, but my dads camry's entire electrical system went out earlier tonight and he thinks its related to the Rattler 310D i just put in there. Gotta work on that tomorrow. Sorry man, if nobody else can do it, wait a week or two im sure ill be back down in the 727 soon enough.
