I have a '72 Nova shell sitting in my old garage in Oklahoma (mom's house). By shell I mean no drivetrain, no interior, no nothing. It has all the glass and guts of the dash, and that's it. Bought the thing for $400...

My original plan was to drop in the TPI engine from m old '92 Formula, but I never got around to it and eventually sold the engine.

So I ask, would it bo worth it to have it shipped down here ($400 about) and do a complete ground-up restoration, or would it be more logical to sell it in Oklahoma and use the money for something else?

I'm a domestic guy at heart and feel uncomplete without a domestic steed in my stable :sadwave:

It's a '72 Nova. Sell it, those things don't look hot enough to restore unless you're a die hard Nova fan.

You should tell Billy about it. Him and Frances were looking to do a 70's Nova soon. I think Billy even talked about gutting it at one point. They may be interested if you don't want it.

But if your looking to do a full restoration on something I think I would do it to something else also. Unless theres some sentimental value you have to the car?

Hmm....I need to mention this to Billy.

Sounds like exactly what I'm looking for. Hell, if it's gutted it saves me the problem of doing it myself.

I'd definately be interested in taking it off your hands if you want to go that route. Do you have any pictures of it?

Billy, check your PMs! BTW, I'd 8like* to get $500 our of her since that's what it cost me in the end (towing, flat tire, etc) to get it to my house. If that's a problem, no problem ;-)

I'm currently out of town in PA for work; I'll be getting home on the 23rd. I'm interested, so let me know. :D
