Well i dont think this would fall under any of the stickies up top...
im looking for some custom work down to my gauge bezel to house aftermarket gauges nicely.
I was wondering if anyone on here does fiberglass very well or knew of a place that could do it.
im basically looking for the following: decent price, GOOD-GREAT craftsmanship, available to do it ASAP.
its a rather simple project i want done...i just realized i suck at fiberglass ;)

Stop by Audio Empire in Pinellas Park (near where secret services used to be, but more towards U.S. 19)
They did this on my friends Navigator (truck belongs to Rob Decrane)

Great glass work IMO, not sure their price or time quotes (because Rob's Navi took a while, but he got a bunch of other stuff too). Your going to get what you pay for though, so even though their prices might be high, just look at the work they do. Top Notch for glass.
Or John at SA on Dale Mabry (TBSpyder)?... Im sure him and Jesse will chime in.

fiberglass work is is simple, and if you layer it deep enough you cant suck at it. thats the beauty of sanding and gloss paint ;)
Take some pics of what you want done, I might do it for bragging rights.

heres basically what im looking to do:
the gauge cluster bezel:

i want the areas around the gauge to be cut and fiberglassed so it houses the new autometer gauge flush and angled like stock...but with me still able to put the clear cover back on.

theres four that i want like that as well as the little square rectangle holes filled in which is easy:

and the back side shows you the angles i want the gauges are already there from the stock stuff....

let me know if you can help....
I know how to do it, but I know I cant dedicate the time to it. :( Looks like itd be a great job for some marglass and liquid plastic.

looks more like you need to fabricate a new cover. Trying to reduce the diameter would take a lot more work. Plus by fabricating a new one you can still put the stock back if you get tired of it or need to sell.

fiberglass is easy to work with unless your like me and dont where a mask. then about 5 minuts later when the resin fumes get you high its hard to focus on what your doin, this is why i can never seam to complete any fibergalss work haha

Sounds like you are mixing the resin too hot... I can work with it for hours and never get any problems, unless I use a hot batch
