As the title says a 1983 Brat 4x4, first off will the EJ20T bolt in. Secondly and most important will the tranny mate up and be functional.

Anyone? Bueller? Or possibly a link to a site that has more info.

thanx! ~Eddie

I thought someone posted a brat with a STI motor in it a while back.

I saw another one once, they had the turbo sitting outside of the hood, it look mean, but it was also beat up, this one is nice, they redid the whole car.

I doubt it would bolt right on the car, and electronics can be a PITA.

I thought that the brat motor was an EH-something...

In a car as old as a Brat, why not just make your own mounts if they don't fit?

Is this a project that you are working on, or just hypothetical?

friend of mine's son. Just seeing if he and his dad could tackle the project without much if any fabrication. Electrical stuff aside for now.

No calls made. Just threads started.
