I've read about both tires...and from what I can decipher the toyo's wear a bit faster...the question I have is how much faster and how does the sidewall stiffness compare to the stock advans? It would cost 720$ to retire with the Toyo's and 960$(ouch) with the advans. Anyone that has had experience with both, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Primarily about wear/tire life and sidewall ridgity. Thanks in advance. :)

RA-1's are road race tires and suck for street driving unless you can keep them constantly temped up to around 200 - 220 degrees
they have really stiff sidewalls and wear very quickly bc, like i said, they are road race tires.. very sticky... once heated

Nothing can compare to the stock Advans. I have driven Evo's with Yokos, Pirelli's,Falken Azenis, etc.. and the stock A046 is the BEST.
