and much, much, much thanks to kevin (kpr10is) and nick (m0nk3y) for all the help. and i believe the box was built by our very own jesse, so thanks to him too. for the first time, i think there is finally one aspect of my car i can be proud of.
:)
I vaguely remember that  What a long day THAT was.

sounds awesome to me... you'll have to talk to one of my cohorts to get an educated opinion though.

Not bad for a single 10 and factory front speakers :)...
I made ABS plastic 6x9 to 5x7 adapters as you see above, but Nick and I decided that putting his other Boston 5x7s up front in the 6.5" spot would have been way too much work, especially when I can get a set of Infinity or Polk components dirt cheap from work.
So once new fronts are in, and they dominate instead of the rears, the sound stage will be 10x better.
P.S. Vote: (for jesse, john, steve, and maybe curtis :)) Polk Momo or Infinity Kappa Perfect components for up front...I get both dirt cheap...Im thinking the perfects

nooo! i can't let jesse's name go disrespected. the box was originally built to go in nick's truck with an attached amp rack, all custom fitted and carpeted perfectly. but we had to chop off the backing to fit it in my trunk, and the carpet got a little fucked in the process.

thats because of where i hacked off the amp rack...
but i do remember people giving him shit for the seam, which, there was no way around...
anyhooter, kevin- im thinking the perfects.
and the sound is slightly softer than it was in my truck, but the dampening seems to have helped it a bit, in the sq after warming up department.
truck is getting a whole new setup... when truck part 3 comes around in a few months :naughty:
Haha jesse is that a carpeting gap I see?
this coming from queen q form?
AS you may have read, it was an amp rack at one point.
I cant find the pics :(
oh well.

I'd go with the Polk's if you want heavier mids, Infinity if brighter highs are more important.
