Forced Performance has given me the option to exchange my Green for a Red. I'm not sure if I want to do it or not. I'm going to be running a JDM 6spd and since the gearing isnt exactly long the turbo isn't going to spool fast. So should I use the Green or get the Red?

I don't know much about the red, but I always hear great things from the FP Green.

I've seen the green put down over 400awhp easy. How much power are you looking for?

The Green is rated at 490 crank hp and the Red is rated at 600 crank hp. I think I'm going stick with the Green for now since I'm on the stock motor still, but as soon as I get my motor done GT35 here I come :D

Personally i don't think a red or a green is a great choice for the stock 2 liter. Like green mentioned above, your powerband will only be like 5200-7200rpm and your stock internals will only be able to handle it for so long. It's not a very streetable setup. The red will even be worse. Now if you had a built bottom end with alittle more displacement and or shorter gear ratios, and or a built head, both of them become nice options. What setup are you throwing this ginormous hamster wheel on?

It's going on a stock WRX longblock, click the link in my sig for the rest of my setup. I'm going to see how much the stock motor with head studs and head gaskets can take :)

I decided to keep the Green and then upgrade later if I'm not happy with it :)

I'm thinking about getting a good EJ205 from someone that upgraded and get it sleeved and have the heads worked :)
