This Sunday, May 22, 2005. Sound, Looks, And Performance (S.L.A.P.) car show in the parking lot of SoundAdvice on Columbus & Dale Mabry. Call 872-4434 or stop by the store for details. Those of you with systems should enter just to get metered for the hell of it, or atleast stop by to check it out. Starts around 11am I believe and will probably finish up around 4pm. Hope to see ya'll there....

I've never seen the meter ronnie setzer uses, so I can't say....but it should be competition level instruments they'll be metering with. 3 different categories: show & shine, SPL, and dbQ...which is a combination of install, SQ, and SPL. $30 to enter, registration from 9am-noon. Competition isn't too heavy, I'd say a couple of you on here have a fair chance of placing, plus you'll get to see what your car hits.

LMAO you set your amps on fire? How in the hell did you do that? What kind of amps are you running? Does the amp have fuses?

the lanzer vibe 2000 watt bit the dust (go figure). yea theres a fuse i have no clue y it had a meltdown..... well yea i do its a lanzer. i went to go move my car at like 11 last nite and the subs didnt turn on so im like ok wtf n i go look at the amp and there smoke commin from it (made my car smell like ass too damn electrical fire) but no i did nothing differant its ben hooked up for almost half a year now n i never had problums but go figure rite befor a comp it craps out. i made it out there with my friends 2 1000 poweracostik amps but i was 5 minuts late to register. oh well had a good time n some little 8 yr old wes enjoying playing my ps2 lol.
