Here are some pics of the 'near' finished project of a good friend of mine. Last time I saw/helped w/ this car it was on jackstands getting it's final spray of base coat before the cool colors. Needless to say I was quite surprised to see the final product. There are still a few more things to be added before it's all said and done.

Quite a long and detailed build, w/ hardly a single part left on the car untouched. I'm not even going to begin listing the spec sheet on this thing as it would rival the number of partners had by Jenna Jameson.

Basically this thing is a race ready show car w/ a motor and suspension to back up its good looks.

For those who attended HIN Orlando this is the same car that you saw at the Tein booth.

Alas, onto the pics!

Paint color came out even better than expected! Lots of pearly crazy colors in the daylight.

It will get it's fair share of motor abuse and broken aero.

This was the same car that he drove at DD3. Flat black hatch w/ silvia front.

much respect for the owner cause time and money is hard to come by and that car must have taken up a ton of both... i love it when a car is done right.. even in pink and with blinging stilettos

wheel size / offset ?

19x9 +not low enough
19x10.5 +not low enough

Spacers were added to the fronts last night, so they sit much more flush.

The wheels were just temps for HIN (something laying around at the shop), so they won't be on the 'completed' car.

I think a stupid wide set of Professors, or something less VIP would fit the car much better, but even those look MUCH MUCH better in person than in those pics.

They don't do the car justice.

He's not sure yet.

He couldn't decide whether to spray the top half of the car black until literally 2 minute before spraying the car. I talked him into it last minutes, and glad too. I think it flows extremely well with the carbon hood and hatch.

That's just his nature, yet somehow it all seems to work out.

I'll post updated pics when the new goodies arrive.

EDIT: XtremeSaturn and midorigreen, you have both been sent contact info. Thanks!
