alright fellas

my boy has a 05 colorado and i am trying to add some bump to his ride. He wants to keep his stock HU so we bought a rca converter for him to run rcas to his sub. Nothing big, 1 small 12 in a single cab. We printed out a wiring chart andhe has no acc wire or remote wire to his stock radio. His radio stays on after his ingnition is off til he opens the door, where would I tap in for a remote?

You can go to his IGN wire in his steering column, last time I checked it was Brown in his IGN Harness. Make sure you test it with a Multimeter, or a probe first though.

Just run it to the fuse box to something that is an accessory. Only thing is the amp is going to turn off before the deck does.

+1 to john, one of the reasons i have grown to hate working on GM's, theres no need to make factory stuff that intricate

i think u should tell him to get the yoda back on the road .
Or just get a solo- baric 8'' or 10'' and a hifonics amp and let the bump begin

we run this
