The deal with the waterbox towards the end was they were trying to move the line through that had backed up because of that lengthy oil down clean up. Plus someone had reported to the tower that the rain was close since the wind completely died.

There was no water in the boxes and the ground around it was barely wet so it was not going out onto the racing surface per the track staff.

i went 10.79 @ 127.xx on the first pass with a 1.63 60' everything after that was 11.1x @ 124-126...i would have had another 10 but on one run when i hit 4th the car went left a little and i heard something pop in the rear so i let out(about 900') and it went 11.1 @ 117 coasting. i gotta figure out why my car isnt 60'ing like it should, best of the night was a 1.57...

I think its funny that guys used to rag on LS motors and say they had no potential unless they had a Vtec head on them.......Now look at the times these no good motors run:)

Nice meeting you, and I was in the same boat. I beat my previous best NA 1/8th mile by a tenth with a 9.05, and basically matched my previous best 1/4 NA with a 14.26. Considering everyone was off by a couple of tenths I'm hoping to sneak into the 13's with some better weather. Then there's always the bottle........................

I know this is old, but I ended up running a 14.5 at 97. A day ago I found out I had 2 bad coiles, I dont know if it would make a huge diff. But we will see

97mph on some sticky tires would get you a real high 13... keep practicing.

Got my new times now. Well, i got the brken shit fixed. It was the axle not the tranny. Well I ran a 13.5 today at runday sunday. It was ok I was looking to hit the 12's. I could not hook 2 or 3rd for my life. Next time i will run slicks.
