Well, im bored deployed in africa (8 more days till i get back!!) so here it is for yall
Hey everyone, figured id introduce myself.
Ill start off with my history
Im 20, joined the USAF at 18. i work on c-130 engines.
first car was a 95 integra ls special edition-riced
sold it for an A3 golf, left stock
bought a second A3 golf, vr6 swap
sold both the A3s and got a 97 gst spyder, in 2001 i believe
HUGE amount of work, 4 major 1st place wins, 3 sponsorships, 1 calendar appearance. along with being the only show winnign eagle talon spyder, and hte first set of VOLK GT-U in gunmetal in teh us.

so then i sold that about 6 months ago for a 2k3 jeep grand cherokee (which is for sale BTW)

I also have a 2k5 bombardier ds650 quad that i race. funny thing is....if i woulda bought another car instead of that, id have saved myself 7,000 dollars lol. but its a fun toy.

So now it comes to current..
Im deployed for 9 more days in africa, then im commin homw, i have 3,000 cash, and selling my jeep and should hopefully make 3,000 off that, making 6, 000.

So anyways, i want to get back into the import "scene" i guess you could call it. And im gonna try a honda this time. I came frmo boost, and loved it, and know more than i should about it. But im gonna try the whole vtec thing i guess.

anyways, glad im here, and im in valdosta....and it sucks

he said he's 20 and joined when he was 18. i'm guessing 2 years but maybe he did some kind of pre-military training before. i dunno.

adn it has been a lil over 2 years in the military, a lil over a year in georgia. Im origionall from Myrtle beach SC so if youve been to show and shine at the beach, imports at the rock or anythign liek that, you saw my car. It won every show it was in, 3 sponsors, and the first set og GT-Us as well as the only show going promoted talon conversion...It was my baby and sitll is, even though some army fucker(excuse my language) has it up in Ft bragg, nad it looks like shit now. Lol, 25,000 investment down the drain.

But anyways, i apprecaite the warm welcome, and plans as of now are to pull off a 4dr gsr with JDM front end, i/h/e/toda bs
tein coilovers with EDFC skunk 2 camber setup.
Im not loooking to make a crazy fast track car, but more of an autocross car. And suttle show car.

Thanks for the props. Im piecing together the parts for another one. MY Gf wants a NT spyder, so im going to slam a full 97 conversion with 95 sides on it, even the door ribs. and possible drop in the 2.4 im building into that car.

 

thats cool. i have a 95 TSI AWD im building right now. putting in a 7bolt 2.3 stroker. order all the parts for the bottom end and everything should be together by mid may.

 

nice, i have at least 2 years, im sellign the jeep to not have a payment so i can devote myself to it. might get a divorce over my 8,000 engine plan, but my dream will be done.
