Hey guys i just bougth my new 2005 SRT and was wondering about other peoples times(1/4) and mods for those times... Would be great as i set myself to start modding.. Trying to get the feel of a Turbo car never have had one... Thanks... :nworthy:

I ran a 14 stock. I'll let you know what I ran with a wga, mbc, and S1 after Saturday. Good luck with the mods. Make sure you do it right so that you dont fuck up your car.

Thats why i am asking, i have read A LOT of posts trying to figure out exactly what mods i should do and what order... But hey we shall see ANY input would be great thanks again...

I would advise waiting to mod your car until you know if someting is goign to break first. Give it 1000 miles, minimum . I didn't mod mine till almost 9000 miles. plus, once you mod your car, it will EAT gas, and if youg et a wga, you get part throttle boost and some compressor surge, so you need to know how to drive around it, or have alot of money for tires. come out to TR track day this Sat. there shoudl be a few of us out there and you can check out the mods, and see the 1/4 times.

i dont live in tampa anymore... I live in California now. But i was part of the forum when i had my other cars so figured i would look to you guys for some help... What exactly is a wga? Wastegate acuater(sp?)??

Yea, wastegate auctuator...It helps a lot. gives you more boost and lets you hold more to redline.

Any sites where this could be looked at?? Intake first mod though right? Im gonna wait past a extensive break in period just wanna know where to start and where to get the good prices..

i ran 13.1@106 on stage 0 i had intake(did not do much)wastegate (helps alot) 3in.needwings downpipe(it helped the most ) and bfg d/r on 17psi. I just put stage 1 in ported intake manifold t/b 20psi and 75shot on i just have to get tires and go to the track

Stage 2 with toys and a JLM motor mount. 93. octane
Stock tires.
EVEYTHING else from my exhuast to my spark plugs are stock...

be carefull saying "stock" cause you'll get flamed !!!!!!! cause stg2 comes with injectors and others,,, you may want to say original or something else other than stock !!!! some peps don't understand that if you say "other than stg ??? or "everything else" is "stock" , they don't get the "everything else is stock" statement !!!!!!! :mad:

Mods 3" Needswing DP , 3" AGP Intake , AGP WGA , Stage 1 .. Had a passenger and the car was horrible out of the hole . It would have been a low 13 sec pass ..

Same car on higher boost with race gas went 13.3@110 spinning all the way through 1st and 2nd and half of 3rd ..

not a clue...and my mod list is much too long to list...lets just say mid 14s at 8psi, err, but I cant post here either, but nice times for the SRTs....hmm, makes me wonder what I will run when all done

I haven't run mine at the track yet, but I'm stage 1 with too much other stuff to list. Basically alot of aftermarket and 17 psi. It puts up a respectable 294 on the dyno but I can never get traction off the line. If you really want to make it fast you have to work with the suspension, motor mounts, etc. otherwise you'll have all that power and nowhere to go. Also hopefully you got the LSD in yours, wasn't an option in my 03.

I have personally witnessed 300(close) pulls with those mods...hell even without the TB!
Look into 60mb tb and adapter plates! Lots of powah to be had

Mine is set at 17 right now and i'll tell ya the damn thing sounds like its about to blow up but i've had it at 17 for about 4 months now, no problems...except for some reason i'm still seeing oil residue on my BOV even with the catch can installed, anybody have any advice on that?

Check into "krank vents" or get a REALLY strong check valve to back-up the PCV which is where is leaking through at most likely...

I have oil spots all over my drive way from 5400 miles on my SRT4, 1200 of which was a trip to Tenn.

Damn all the way to Tennessee with no cruise control, that must have been fun...I'll definitely have to look into getting a better check valve. Mine has 39k on it and most people say they start to see less and less oil in the catch can after 30k but no such luck for me

What the hell is so "b.s." to you; that i actually have all those mods done to my car instead of some stupid-ass body kit or subwoofers like a little high school kid whose daddy bought him a shiny new car? I hope you think it's b.s. so that when you pull up next to me i will pwn you. It's a yellow SRT-4 with gunmetal RH Evolutions, so i'll be seein ya round.

I really want to take the damn thing out more often but i always end up workin on weekends, and weekdays for that matter, but I really need to work on my damn launch. It sucks b/c I saw that there is an SRT-4 dyno day and I really wanna check my A/F .I'll definitely keep checking the boards for a dyno day I can go to though. And I understand what you're saying, when you see it you'll believe it thats cool. Hopefully it will be sooner than later.
