Default suspension adjustment=easier wheelies

well i was out messing with the bike and i have these adjustments on the top of my forks and rear shock. i have been itching to mess with them but someone told me once not to mess with it since you learn to ride the bike the way it is set up.

well i rode my friends f4 and damn thing was soft. didn't like the feel. so i look at mine and i notice the front is set up on hard and my rear is soft..

so i moved the front to in between the hard and the middle.3/4 hard if you will.and moved my rear to the middle. front tire now comes up a little fast to me but easier. actually i think it is probablly because i am used to having to bounce the piss out of it to come up. but when i get it up it is alot easier to ride it because the wheelie goes higher. (2nd gear at about 45mph no clutch)

not to mention alot easier on my arms when i set it down.

now for some fine tuning on it. hahahaha

You need to stop hanging around these douche bags. The whole point of having adjustable suspension is to adjust it. I weigh a mere 155 lbs, I am NOT going to have the same setup as a 210lb man, that rediculous. There are some good articles out on the net explaining suspension tuning. I personally like mine a tad stiff for better turning cabablilities. Nevertheless, congrats on the newfound tweaking. Shit man, by the time we see each other again your gonna be riding wheelies 3 miles down the interstate.

Yeh...suspension adjustments can make a huge differenct... I put mine a good amount stiffer... i find the way the bike comes stock is way too soft...

Now for wheelies i didnt realy see a difference (i clutch mine)... But for stopies... it worked better.

yea i can't ride the stoppies yet. only get the rear tire inverted and then i stop and it comes down.

umm won't be riding the wheelies yet . working on it thought. i was doing wheelie last night a couple of times where you get it up and let the front wheelie just touch enough to chirp and bring it back up. hahaa i was calling it a stop and go but not sure if it is such a thing. still to scared to ride out the wheelies up high and do any over the 50mph speed yet.
