Well, I never post on here, but I figured I'd chime in with the system I dropped in the Caddy.

2 4" Diamond Audio M3's up front
2 6x9" Diamond D3's in the back
2 12" Cerwin Vega IT subs in the trunk, sealed box
Some 7 year old ass Alpine CD player that I've had forever
MTX Thunder 6500D amp for the subs
MTX Thunder 6304 amp for the mids and highs
Optima yellow top
All stinger wiring, 150 amp fuse
12ga to the subs, 16ga to the cab speakers
4ga power and ground from battery to battery
8ga power and ground from rear battery to amps
18ga remote and common ground

It sounds good and it's pretty fuckin' loud.

Sounds good...you should throw a couple more 12's in it though, that's easily a 5 body trunk. ;)

I'm impressed, I didn't figure you for a sound system guy. What else can you do that you're holding out on telling us about? ;)

Dude, I'm a technical genius, I can do anything I want.

Right now I'm only running 1 12. The other one's glue is curing since I accidently pulled the cone out of the basket when pulling it from the old box I had in the camaro. 2 Vega IT 12's running at 2ohms through that amp get me close to 800watts of bass. Even the one sub is plenty loud for the Caddy, and the 2 12's in the Camaro was overkill :D

My roommate turned me onto the Diamond speakers, which I'm sure are the components you've never heard of. They're really good and not that expensive.

by heard I meant heard with my own two ears.

I own a set of diamond m3 components. They are currently collecting dust in my garage.

Oh, straight. Yeah, the M3's ain't bad for the money, but the IT's I had in the back of the Camaro were smokin' in comparison. They were nearly double the price though.

the cone on one of the mids is damaged. they are still in my doors, sicne I have been too lazy for the custom door build (girls = time + cash)
