I've noticed there are a bunch of guys cruising in some old cars on this site lately. Check in, I just wanna see who's running what. I know we've got some old Chevrolet, Mopar, even an AMC lurking on here. We should all get together for wings and beer one night with our bad ass cars! :naughty:

American Muscle all the way, when I was a younger man I was partial only to Mope's. Now I find all american iron beautiful.

checking in.......gal that is

I've noticed also alot more classics on the board lately too. When I first joined I mentioned maybe a "Classic/Antique Forum". There didn't seem to be as many interested then. And even now I don't know how much interest it would spark. I just thought theres a bike forum, imports and model specific forums, but classics and antiques seem to be a group of there own :dunno: . No matter what make, theres restorations people have done, parts that are hard to find, problems that only old cars have lol. Anyway just thought I would mention it.

If a meet gets formed I'd be interested. Maybe we could try to make it out.

Thats what my dad had too. It was light metallic blue w/ light blue interior. He took such good care of it, then he ended up selling it. He had a 454 in the garage and a 400 tranny for it that he sold too. I was about 11 or 12 and told him to keep the motor and tranny for me. He laughed and said I wouldn't have anything to put it in. Then later he helped me build my car

What's this about no tech? I have a vacuum advance unit on my distributor!

Oh, there are seriously some nice cars in this thread. I didn't know TR had such a population of classics. Back when I joined I think I was one of 3.

1979 Trans am... checking in. not necessarily a "muscle car". i think its officially a classic or antique now. Its been sitting in storage up in ohio ever since i moved down here in 2002. the motor is built and hasnt even been ran or broken in yet. i stll have to install my radiator, hoses, tranny cooler lines and modify the exhaust to fit the long-tubes. i plan on visiting the family this summer and putting some work into the TA and hopefully bring it back down here w/ me.... it was my first car
