The lt1 finally started for the first time in 3months, I'm so excited to have it back. The only problem is that I have to drive to work right now open header :-D so I can take it to the exhaust shop.

He got the rest of the exhaust bolted back up, you should hear this exhaust leak! wow. Seems like the leak is directly off the heads to the manifold, too.

i have no clue, the car runs good, no smoke, oil is clean, and no leaks.

Exhaust leak almost completely fixed on it now... sounds pretty damn good for no cats/flowmaster muff.

Bad metal on metal type noises...

I was driving the car, saw a red light come on, "check guages" ... look down, 0 oil pressure, temp was fine though from what the guage said, less than 210. Pulled the car over immediately to see coolant flying out of the overflow and a loud knocking type sound from the engine.

Ask me more questions about it and I'll get back to you tomorrow, have had a rough day and I'm done typing. :sadwave:

sounds perfectly normal for an lt1 to me

you tend to get used to the whole motor blowing up thing after the 3rd or
4th rebuild :dunno:

if you need any help with the LT1 though I'm just as gulible as scott, I'll do
what I can to help you out man...just let me borrow the tinker bell blanket
next time and we'll call it even ;-)

your kenutor valve is leaking
you need to flush your turn signal fluid
bumper seal just gave out
you have a boost leak on your flux capacitor
muffler bearing is shot
and the cow jumped over the moon

F'n chevy... well me and James (I mean james did, while I stood there petrified looking at that mess of an engine) yanked the driver side valve cover off the check the pushrods, but they seemed to be fine.

maybe your oil sending unit or simply the oil pressure sensor broke? :dunno:

have fun with the oil sending unit...thats behind the engine where the EGR valve is.

hope its not your crank...that same shit happened to my car, except that my oil pressure didnt die like you said

Doubtful, too coincidental that the engine would stall out and start making metal on metal noises at the same time.
