They make sense on a boat...as a bilge blower because that's what they are. They are a scam. If you feel you must try it though, go down to West Marine and you can buy them for $20 instead o $100. Did I mention that they are a scam.

yeah few sites have tested them and they cant even make 1psi, they arent worth much of shit.

the ONLY electric supercharger out there is by a company call TKT (thomas knight turbos) but these are some pretty serious and costly items, as much as a full turbo kit and deliver some decent power.

like stated above, they are a scam

hah, those things are plastic fans they put in the intake...no boost, no power and possibility of a blade breking off screwing up your engine...if itsounds too good to be true, it is

Not a good idea. The concept sucks donkey dick. That's why they have turbos and superchargers out there. Don't go pissing your money down a rathole.

In your spare time, calculate how many cubic feet of air your engine will injest in one minute at say 6000 rpms. Then calculate out how many cfms of air that tiny little electric fan with it's tiny little electric motor can push with no pressure. Then imagine that little fan trying to match just the normal needs of you motor. THEN imagine what that little fan with it's little electric motor would have to do to double that pressure so you would be running just 14 psi. All of a sudden your little fan and little electric motor to turn it just grew in size and power considerably. Then, once you get it big enough, you have to somehow supply enough electricity to power all that...plus your car and your subs and your neons and your washer lights and......

Well, you get the picture...I hope.

if your really wantting one the way I could see it even somewhat helping is may be do like DrDirt said go to west marine buy you a bilge blower witch like he said thats what they are then go to like pep boys buy one of them hose kits that hook into the top of your filter then mount that thing down in one of the holes on the body kit then run the hose to you filter that way you'll get some good cold air and if one of the blades brwak the filter will save it but that damn thing sure isn't gonna give you no boost but do like I just said and I think it'll help feed cooler air if you must have one :dunno:

Dont the TKT's only last for something like 10-15 seconds at a time?

yeah few sites have tested them and they cant even make 1psi, they arent worth much of shit.
