My name is david, and im a junior in highschool. Im in an OJT class and we are doing presentations on our future careers. Im very interested in opening a speedshop in the tampa area for my career choice. I have a few question to ask if u all dont mind answering them for me to get some facts down for my project. Id greatly appreciate it.
-could u give me a breif job decription. What it is that u do day in and day out.
-a ball park fiqure at ur yearly salory. When u first started and now.
-what education was needed. Schools, degree, tech school. ect
projects due thursday and i still have to make a slideshow
if anyone could give me a ballpark answer id appeciate it alot

Im not a shop owner, just a worker. Thers only 2 of us me and the owner. What I do? Everything pretty much. Swap/Pull motors, transmssions, brakes, tune ups, replace parts period. I make $300 a week, pretty damn shitty. All I have is a highschool degree no, ASE certs yet.

I only do about 30 hours a week though, and my hours are 3 pm till 9 pm so its not that bad, but honestly I cant do it anymore. My back hurts everday now for the past few months. I have no desire to keep working on cars unless I make the same pay for doing tunes up, brake jobs and oil changes only.
