We met up and test ran a local track and mutual agreed we didnt feel comfortable at that spot. We figured out another track and went to it. from a 40mph roll I pulled him to about 110 when I had to let off do to spectators up ahead. i would say i had a car or 2 on him but im not sure on the exact distance. Second run was from a 60mph roll. three honks and we are off. i jump ahead a little bit and alberto starts to catch up slowly. I shift into forth and just start slowly walking away. i let off around 130 with him in my rearview. Alberto your car is very stout. Sorry to dissapoint you tonight, I know you were looking for some wins. I am still impressed by your car. Please feel free to correct me if i have anything wrong.

The camera guy couldnt find the battery to the camera so unfortunately there is no video. But even if there was I dont think you would have been able to se much. Our brief 65 to 115 - 120mph the other night with John giving me the hit which gave me at least 1/2 to maybe even a car up front still left me at least 2 cars back by the time he let off. All I could hear was exhaust and got another fine visual of those oh so nice tail lights. John you are welcome to post the vid I sent you from the rolling thunder cruise. Altough the vid is not that great you clearly see how well that vette pulls. It's an awsum ride.

I dont know guys this Vette is not exactly stock feeling, if anyone can find me a true stock z06 to run I will gladly take it. I am gonna guess this vette would trap at least 118.

his car is stout as fuck and last ii remember a stock z06 traps around 113-114 , johns car gets down and all you guys saying i Need more should race this z06 before running your mouths,

as far as the runs the 40 roll he got me fairly good 1-1.5cars

second run was far better 60 roll to 135 or so

at about 120 when I had to shift to 5th I saw less than a car , looked like half to 3/4 car and then after he slowly crawled away from me.

my vette isnt exactly stock. Its got a couple basic bolt ons. There is nothing wrong with albertos car at all. It should be an easy 11sec car with some traction at the strip. Thats pretty fuckng fast for an rsx if you ask me. I know I am very impressed with it. If my car were 100% stock alberto would have no problems walking me. Just race him when your car gets done you will see.

You guys are too fast for us FRC's. Z06's do trap over 116mph with basic bolt ons. The 03's and up have went 11's.

For Alberto to stay close to John on a roll is just a testiment that his car runs very well. As I said before John has a very quick car as he and I have run several times both from a dig at the track and from a roll on the street. Not many people can catch me in the 1/8th from a dig and John has done it more than once. John you should post the video in this thread of our roll the other night during the cruise. I have no shame losing to that car as it is a very stout ride.

I did not say it was astonishing however I'll bet that less than 20% of the people on here have cars that pull an 8.100 @ 86mph. That is fast enough for a very low 12 sec pass however as of now with a stock turbo I do not have the top end to support a low 12 and I'm stuck here at 12.846 for a few more weeks. What did your subie do in the 1/8th Billy?

Exactly my shit aint a half ass street car with JDM dash and missing carpets, My shit is a daily driven RSX with all the features of stock RSX. Not sure why I am hearing about my car like its a TRACK honda like others on here.

hey IF your best run is 11.02 I wouldnt talk about running 9s. unless its on the internet 1/4 mile calculator. I dont go to the track and so you dont hear me claiming I will run this or that, I might run 15s for all I know.

Give me slicks and enough time and I can run 11s with 325whp on a car that weighs 2500 lbs too, or probably even less after all that shit that is no longer in it.

bottom line is if me gettin beat by a car that traps over 116 by less than a car makes me slow then call me Turtle :)

not really man this is my daily driver, I like having AC, power steering, abs and a W12sub and 2 amps in the back :)

I am not into that weight reduction shit, I will turn up the boost as soon as I can get it tuned for methanol/alcohol or race gas. Til then I am keeping it where its at.

Not for nothing but I thought this was about a race between a RSX and a vette. Not a Honda and an RSX. The RSX and the Vette had a good close race and the Vette won. Ron I do not see the point in slamming him over that. At least we haven't see Alberto stage with his rear wheels like we have see you do.

and if you cant find traction then that sounds like a problem you should take care of before adding more power, if you can only manage an 11 with 550hp then maybe you want to turn it down to 385whp and trap 136 again
