Hey ya'll it's me Miles. Friday's drift night has been canceled. I need to make sure i can insure that drivers will be there. I have an opportunity to put on an drift event at orlando speedworld. But I want to ask you guys a question. WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO ABOUT DRIFTING? In order for me to keep rolling with this I need the support of the race community, unfortunetly there is alot of people who really don't give a flip about drifting and helping it develop. Give me something I can show these tracks and keep it going.
Keep it sideways
-Miles

maybe nobody goes bc of your bad reputation and lackidasical way of running things. when you can hold an event professionally, people will respond.
a)you dont have a name for YOURSELF in the drifitng community (you need to actually be able to drift and show people)
b)you MAKE/FORCE everyone to wear helmets. the only event i attented was to see just how bad these events are... and, in all honesty, ALL my worst fears were true.
c)hold events in a safe venue. theres alot of beginners out there and you have WAY to many obstacles for them to hit (i.e. buck into wall)
d)more policing of participants AND crowd. you had too many spectators in hazard zones and participants sticking hands out windows, being stupid, standing power braking in trucks, etc

Gee seems like Myself and you both said these things would happen
GOTTA LOVE IT THAT ROUNDY ROUND SEASON IS BACK, and he cancels the events, seems to me someone was looking for some fast $ but failed due to his lack of promoting the events!

Look, had anyone come out to the last event you would have seen that there were other safety measures put in place this time. I took out alot more barriers and quadrupeled the tires. How about people stop whining like little girls and just drive. I don't care if anyone likes me or not, I'm trying to provide a simple friday night where people come out sign up and drive fro the night. HAS ANYONE ELSE DONE THAT? WHERE ELSE CAN YOU GO FOR THAT? Thank you, it's like this if you don't think it's safe then stay home and play need for speed. I haven't made any money on any of these events i've actually lost money so for anyone to question my character i say HOW ARE YOU CONTRIBUTING TO THE SPORT?

im putting an end to this...
people will not go to your event because you are a nobody in this industry...you havent shown anyone that you are legit or a professional at that..no this is not a personal attack at you or your character but this is the truth..prior to the first and only successful lakeland event know one knew you ever existed...and then only reasont hat event ran and smoothly and was as successful as it was, was because you had a hype man that ran the entire thing..we all know who that was...people are not going to go to your events i mass numbers due to your attitude..you carry yourself like you are the new hot tea in the "drifting" community..no one will take you seriously or trust you events if you continue with the attitude you have will posting about events...there was a reason why i decided not to work with you in further events..and this is the reason why....i did not want my name to be caught up in the cluster fuck that so far has been your events..again i cant stress this enough i am no trying to personally attack you or your character or what you are trying to organize but if you plan on seriously have successful events..you need to market yourself..and so far you have not been doing well with that..

I've never been to a FNL event...
From what I heard; yeah theres some pretty scary issues going on there. SAFTEY being the main one. I think if said person "Isnt a name in the drift SCENE" bring someone in who is. OR Ask for help suggestions from someone who is known. What does it hurt ?
Taylor for example. Taylor seeing these things can offer his help, bring potental drivers, boost HIS business along with the tracks and everyone is happy. If there are things you are un happy with, its OUR responsibility as drivers (Not that I'VE ever been I'm just saying...)to let the track owner/event Coord. know that things arent going as they should. Its also HIS responsibilty to use some common sense and uphold saftey and the rules of the track.
Its easy to stand an complaine about things, but if you have a viable problem suggest a solution as well. Help the "community/scene" out.
Take taylors and others suggestions and look at them. They have warrent and reason.
Just an outsiders take on things. Not taking sides here.. Just making a suggestion.

You don't hafto be a "DRIFTER" to put on an event. You just hafto be a good promo man.
There are Rules to go by and Safety Is Always First!
Do you think Malcom Glazer(sp) ever played football? NOPE! But he bought a football team!

Have you been to any DGTrials events? Though the last one was cancelled, most of their events have been extremely successful. The next one looks to be the same. You might learn a thing or two if you attend one of their events.
