cool new deck/ cant figure it out

i just put in my new deck eclipse 5444 but im haveing a hard time tunning the system. does anyone know how to work this damn thing.

umm...the Sound button near the top right...
What exactly are you trying to tune, the EQ? Id have to go out to my car to remember what beyond that, but it wasnt hard for me :dunno:

yea the eq u tried to tune it but all i can get is pre-sets like news, pop, dance

When its listing all the preset EQ's push the rotary knob in? Not sure if thats it without going out to my car, ill try and remember to do it next time i go out.

I remember now that the last time I started messing around with my deck I lost my EQ settings. So Im hesitant now.

Somehow you have to get to the custom EQ tuning from the menu of preset EQs, and then from then on, when you go to Sound-EQ- it will say User instead of those preset EQs.

I went into my menu earlier tonight, hit Sound-EQ-then the User title came up. I scrolled the right rotary knob clockwise and it showed me the full EQ and let me tune it. Thats all I did.

Hope that helps :dunno: if not just keep pushing buttons around/including the right rotary knob when your in the EQ menu, thats all I did when I first got my deck
