rs*r, or maybe espilir, not too sure on the rates though.
ive had eibach pro kits for a while, not very low, but pretty stiff.

The Pro-kit is progressive, with stock rate (110 ) at the top of the range transitioning up to 200ish Lbs/in. They are also made for a KA powered car, so they're a little higher on SRs. The RSR Race springs are the stiffest, easily obtainable springs around at 280 front/250 rear. Check the pic in Regina's sig for the height. Great for sport, but not slammed. If I had to have a traditional spring, that's what I'd go with.

or kg/mm
forgot about those, not very easy to get though

rsr are stiffer. neurovish on the boards has them on his 240.

back when I had a non coil over set up on the civic, H&R/Koni worked super well together. Stiff and low.. Rx7 I dunno too much about what they make for your car J.

if you want super low i think sprint is the lowest.
but its going to ride like shit.
but if you want to cut rs*r springs you obviously dont care about that.

on my honda i have neuspeed race springs with 3 coils cut off the front and 2 coils off then back and i lost no ride quality(stiffness)..
the question is ... is there a spring i can do it ^^^ with for a s13?
and yes octogon i care about ride quality! but if i can cut rsr springs i will so i can a better stance = better looking ridehight.

First off, "how many coils can I cut" is pretty ignorant. Go look at a pic of some Tein S-techs. There might only be 3-4 coils in the whole front spring. You might only be able to get away with cutting 1/2 a coil before it tries to jump off the perch. Then again, a rear Pro Kit probably has 16 coils, half of which are dead. Cutting dead coils will have a very minimal effect on spring rate, so you wouldn't need stiffer springs. The only effect that will have on ride quality is how close you bring it to the bump stops. Cutting working coils is where you start to screw things up. That brings me to the next point, Nissan's don't have a lot of travel on the stock strut. There are off the shelf springs that are already too low (with respect to the bump stops) without cutting coils. If you're looking for ANY ride quality, you won't go lower than ~1.8", which is far from dumped.
Just buy some Eibach Sportlines that have a 2" drop. That will be a great place to start for your "better looking ride height". I'm sure there will be plenty of coils to cut on those springs as well. Make sure to introduce yourself, so we know who's car that is bouncing all over the place because it's riding on the bumpstops!

dude, if you cut that many coils off of neuspeed race, the car would be on the ground.

Why bother to get coils to cut them? Theres something wrong with you if you want to cut springs that just cost you 200 bucks. The lower you go the harsher the ride, the stiffer the better, i wouldnt worry about going so damn low, i prefer quality>crap just my .02 though

lol must be a PR (no offense) first an rx-7, now cutting springs. and you wonder why there are so many steriotypes. ppshhh
Get a set of Intrax if you want to cut the springs. There dirt cheap. I can't rationalize cutting aftermarket springs though...to each his own. I have a set of Sprint with OEM shocks and ride quality is not that great. GL anyway.

First off, I have GR-2's with RS*R heavy duty race springs on my 240sx. Stiff but your gonna need better struts. I blew 4 stock replacment within 2 months and thats just the rear. Id say the better Tokico struts and the RS*R springs would be a match. Your still looking over 500 bucks tho. I dont think i've seen RS*R springs under 200 just yet. Any how if you are intrested in some used ones im selling mine for 150 bucks used them only for 2 months, and im using my stock ones atm. Leave me a PM is intrested.

I think you should do it OG, and just heat your stock springs.
