When using the nitrous it breaks up around 5grand. What would cause this? Would fuel pressure cause this? Iam still using the stock fpr. I have aeromotive one to install, just having trouble installing it. What would be some other things to check out?

thats one of the first things I would check, whats your A/F like around that point, even a narrow band should give you some idea, get a A/F gauge, your probably lean as hell and lucky you havent blown your engine

What kind of kit? What Jets? What car? What mods? blah blah blah. Be more specific so we aren't chasing our own tail forever.

I have a air/fuel gauge hooked up. Its staying in the rich side very rich the whole time. Moves up somewhat when the nitrous is in use.
Car is a 91 crx with a d16y5 block and y8 worked head. Stock internals. Iam pretty sure its getting to much fuel.

yeah, flooding can be as bad a problem as running lean, too much fuel

what should I gaped them to? Do I use colder plugs? My timing is set to 16 degress. Should my timing be retared?

Retard timing .5 degree for every 25hp shot. Gap plugs at 30 1 heat range colder regular NGKs no platinum.

install the aeromotive as well, I dont know too much about nitrous...but I was under the impression you need that 1:1 regulator....

true, that makes sense....too much fuel...add more air, or turn down the fuel at that point however your managing fuel

still better to tune your fuel down before you step up the nitrous...otherwise you'll be running lean at other areas in the powerband...lean=detonation

guessing its a wet kit, so what are your current pills at? sure you have the fuel pill in the fuel line and the n2o pill in the n2o line?

Threw the rod. It was on 120 shot. I over reved. Didn't bogged dwon though and was alot faster then before. I need another block. I think I got it just right this time. It would probably be alot closter to 11.98 on the MT's. Pretty impresivie for being a sohc with minor head work and stock vavletrain. Now iam really addicted I just have another project to finish since my hf is about had it in my daily driver before I can start back on the race car.
If I don't decide to sell it all to finish my new motor. Well see. Its exspensive when you build cheap and fast.
