When I graduate college in a few months, I'll(hopefully) have a job that pays well enough for me to be able to afford a crate engine. There are thousands of crate sbc 350's out there, but my question is will all of them work with TPI or only ones that are specifically designed for it?
Thanks

If you buy a short or a long block, which is basically what you mean by crate motor, you're not going to get an intake or a carburetor/injection system, so it really doesn't matter. You can use the TPI setup you have already or buy an aftermarket one. I'd recommend going carb though, 'cause carb kicks fucking ass.

I'm probably gonna stick with fuel injection because most people usually go carbed I'm more familiar with it. Any suggestions where I should go to find a good crate engine for a reasonable price, and what to look for/avoid in my seach?

Carb is AWSOME! But I thought TPI used Vortec heads. If so then more than likely the Crate motor does not have Vortec heads and I dont know if they make a aftermarket TPI setup for use with non vortec heads?
