I never got a response last year. I'm looking for someone to crochet me a custom set of Sparco knock-offs. I prefer the feeling of yarn over suede. Please help a brother out.

I have a person that specializes in suede the only issue is that he's in county right now serving a few months due to child support.

Have you considered Madagascarian Chumalopagos skin ? It's very rare but it has the properties of suede and its easier to clean.
