View Full Version : Petition to Open drag strip

While at Automotive engineering today noticed that they had a petititon to sign asking Pinellas county for permission to open a 1/4 mile dragstrip and oval track on the old Toytown landfill. Looks like it is somewhere around 275 and roosevelt area. Not sure if has been touched on here, but thought I would let all know. So go sign it!!

I doubt that the county would allow something like this to be built, but it would be great if it was built. Hopefully the same people that own sunshine and bradenton plop down the money for it or any local businesses would help out. Anybody know the Glazers. It'll make things alot easier to have three 1/4 tracks to got to, instead of just orlando and bradenton.

A 1/4 mi drag strip in pinellas would be nice but would hurt BMP greatly.

I agree with you however I don't see it happening.
