I'd be there(even if I'm not an SRT4, I still have a turbo 2.4) if my car was finished, but I'm currently in the process of installing my MegaSquirt(fuel control, finally! you SRT guys dont know how lucky you are in that respect), then its axles and a LSD...after that I'm game, so about 3 meets down the road or so

sorry, the 420a is actually not a neon engine(the neons engine code is different even though they both share the same block, the head design is opposite), its a mitsu engine, but then, technically speaking I dont have a neon engine either, mine came from a 96 sebring, but anyway I'll stop wasting thread space now

Spring mod is pretty much a $7 dollar waste gate actuator,you just cant boost to high with it,ive heard stories of the arm breaking off...

that does not sound like fun at all. I had a Forge SGA and a MBC on my car, but I hated it... I just put it on for the track and then gave it back to the guys who owned it. I thik I'll ust run stock this time... mabye welfare exhaust... we'll see.

It's NOT a mitsu engine at ALL. Come on, you even said it yourself, same block, different head. Even the pistons, cam gears, lifters, valves, cams etc are similar or exactly the same. Look at the block and head and all you will find is 5 star Dodge logos, not a Mitsu logo ANYWHERE. It's a Dodge engine, same EXACT one that is in the Dodge avenger.

true, same engine as in the avenger, dodge and mitsubishi are practically the same compnay nowadays anyway, and your right, the 420a is more effecient than the non-turbo 4g63 anyway(so turbocharge and build the 420a), the only reason the neon is more powerful is because of the camshafts and maybe the head differences, go for a 2.4 swap, after all, it will bolt to your head....early blocks anyway(sorry guys for highjacking your thread again, i seem to have a bad habit of that)

I have a exhaust leak because my 02 housing nuts are broken. My car pulls right under cruise, pullls left under acceleration, and snaps right under braking....my car is a useless pos right now....only good for point a to b travels. Alignment needed desperately for any form of racing.

Next, I forgot an oil change and ran my car for almost 6K miles, including a high speed track event. <insert bullet here>

I am waiting on some goodies to go even faster, but whats the point? The car doesnt want to drive straight as it is....

So in short...I wont be there :(

It pulls spark when your around the 20lbs limit,if you spike VERY VERY quickly 20lbs..you can go,if it hold for a mere 2 seconds,it cuts :-)

yup that sounds about right.... it was horrible. I couldnt get in 4th or 5th and put my foot down without it pulling spark. I think that the wga was bad.

once I get my car back, Im goign to istall the new toys and then I'll try to tune it correctly. I think that the problem before was that I was boosting too high. althought I dont understand it, becaue the wga was almost all the way loose and the boost controller was all the way down. plus I was S0. We'll see how it work swith S1.
