Please let me know! I got a quote for $225 to paint the front bumper and rear valance on my 99 mustang...but it was at Electro Bake paint shop which is kinda like a Midas or Econo paint....I was wondering if this is a good deal? Some say these places make cheap paint that will fade in a few months...others say for the price that it is worth it. They are going to put on 2 coats primer, 3 coats base and 3 coats clear. Any input would be great! Thanks

i have yet to find a shop here that molds kits in like we do at the shop in ohio. all of our body kits are welded in to the body.
but if you feel like taking a trip to ohio, i would be more than glad to give you the number.
if i see a good shop around here, i'll let ya know. i'm still a newbie to the area. :)

It was my bumper and he also painted my rims and both turned out awesome IMHO. Silverstone is a hard color to match and he was able to get it closer (if not perfect) than any repaints I have seen for this color. E-mail Todd and see what he can do with you because his guy goes the extra mile to make sure it is as good as it can be.

For what it's worth, Mirek's European Auto in Oldsmar does fantastic work. There's always a few widebody Porsches there, modded BMWs, etc. A friend of mine had them do a bodykit and paintwork on his NSX, so I know he'll do those. He's done some work on his 360CS and my 355 as well. Don't think I'll be taking my cars anywhere else...
