Jim Wolf Technology is now sponsoring Team Enjuku
We will be running the C1 Camshafts in our twin drift cars. These cams are more aggressive than HKS 264 Step 2 camshafts, and readily available in the USA. We should be seeing great horsepower gains with them; i'll be sure to keep everyone updated on the status!

Awesome. Sponsorship is always good.
However Ive heard nothing but horror stories about their products and quality. :dunno: IMHO I'd trust HKS FAR more than I would Jim Wolf.

Jim wolf's cams have ALWAYS made great power on the SR20's. The C series are their newest installment of race spec cams.
I see you managed to incorrectly spell both his first AND last name. Good job!

would you honestly want to say that most of there stuff isn't good though? I mean here and there maybe, but for the most part I've heard good stuff. Never heard anything bad about their cams.
Anyone willing to make parts for a QR anyways can't be all bad right?

their ecus are doo doo, thats really the only part of that company i have experience with

sorry about the spelling. Wouldnt buy his stuff much less spell his name right.
I mean everyone has their horror stories. This one happened to be about Cams infact.
Person Purchases cams from JWT. Cams arrive. BONE DRY in a bag. No lubrication, grease oil etc. I believe even had surface rust on them. Normally when you purchase cams they come w some type of Lube on them. (Mine did when I got mine)
Any way kid goes to install Cams in his car. The Cams are not ground properly AT ALL, I believe they wouldnt turn over.
:nono: had to end up still paying for the labor etc.. Just all around fucked up.
Remind me to ask next major drift event "Hey Chunky Bai why dont you use Jim Wolf Cams? Mattback says there the shit !" Im sure Ill get laughed at.
In the end Free shit is Free shit no matter how you put it. Congrats on the sponsorship.

now that i think of it, im pretty positive ive read multiple threads with matt putting JWT down.
so whats more important getting something free?
or being truthful, and honest in products you endorse?

I dont' run their ECU's.
they are too conservative for what I want and need. Besides I already have a sponsorship from Racing Service Enthalpy for the ECU tuning, so that whole thing is taken care of.
I've never heard of bad results with the cams, I know their KA24DE cams are mis labeled somewhat, or they just advertise them differently, but we're going to run their cams, and that's that!
BlueBoost: They've been around what, 25 years, I would hope they know what they're doing somewhat!

awesome. maybe yours will come incorrectly machined also.
we'll see !

Lets see some picture proof of these incorrectly machined cams, I've sold 10 sets of them, never had one come back, and I KNOW the BIG LABEL company that does all of the machining for JWT. It's not an in house project

no need for picture proof.
i saw it myself, and im not sure if there are pics or not.
the cams were fucked, and rusty upon arrival.
and didnt fit at all
but good luck with them.
i personally wouldnt run them in my lawn mower.

why didn't they send them back, and/or give them back to the authorized jim wolf technology distributor apon finding them like that ?

Man, did Haterade just go on sale at Wal-Mart or something?? If there is a problem with the product, send it back. How hard is that? Just because someone got a rusty set of cams and thought it would be a great idea to try and have them installed doesn't make the company's product shitty. It just means that Mr Rusty cams has poor decision making skills. If Mattback thinks that JWT cams suck after distributing and installing them, then I'm sure that TR will be the first people to know about it.

it was just surface rust, not like huge pits or anything.
i guess he and the installer figured it wouldnt be a big deal.
either way, the point is, if matt got a sponsorship with hks, hed be putting down jwt, and vice versa.
no solid opinions when theres a dollar to be made.

HAHAHA YUP!
how about this:
FACT:
HKS valve springs go into coil bind before STOCK!
FACT:
HKS cams have been unavailable for the last five months.
The other point is that if you have nothing good to say, don't say it at all! You know the rules on this forum!
jwt cams have great followings among the FWD SR crowd. and since those cams fit the RWDs too, the S3's and S4's have been wonderful on my friends motor. lumpy!
havnt heard much about those C1's yet, but might be an option for my brother's motor, since HKS cams are on a eleventy year backorder. booo slow boat.
congrats on the jwt sponsor thats pretty elite i think since its a nissan-only company and they picked you guys up over all the other teams (unless they sponsor mutiple teams).
theyre ecu's arent bad if you want to slap it in and run a set psi and be super super safe and get shitty gas mileage, but their other products i have yet to hear bad things about.
