do you mean THUMP?

Does it do it if the stereo is OFF? like physically turn off the head unit, and see if it still does it. Try a different preout. Unplug the rca on the amp and see if it still does it.

If it does do it with the stereo off, either try moving the preout like Jesse said, or try a different wire for your remote. I actually witnessed an install with a Visonik amp, high low converted, where with the radio on it worked fine but if you turned the radio off there would be a constant THUMP, like 40hz or so :dunno:

so narrow down your problem from there. if you hook it up the same way as it is now but take out the switch and it still has the same problem, then the switch didnt affect anything. if you hook it up to the accessory (red) wire at the back of your deck with/without the switch and it works or doesnt work....go from there and you will narrow down your problem pretty quickly.

it does it when i have the power to the back of my deck that is why i have the switch besides for the cops cuz i dont have the money to pay for a ticket because of a noise violation...........
