View Full Version : The "unofficial" unofficial results from Brooksville's practice day.
It was a good event.
Nice and fast course. I needed 3rd gear in 2 spots on course.
Which is somewhere over 60 mph in my car.
14 runs about 42 secs long.
Brian M. defeated Jason Ball in seeing who could get 2 wheels higher off the ground in Tony's Miata. Way to go Brian!!!!
Oh, the pax indexes didn't show up, so the pax results below are just raw times.

c'mon man, you've been to both sites. one is the size of a postage stamp, the other is a concrete runway... ;-)

And they're both fun in their own ways. (I NEVER would have said that about sunriders when I owned the mustang... their courses are too tight for that pig)

Yes Mrs. Nunyo made her debut this weekend at Brooksville. She's quite good; better than I was at my first event or six.
As for the toe out in the rear it wasn't there for this event. I went to a more conservative alignment setup which sucks by the way on 14" tires but felt pretty good on the 15's I borrowed for this event (Escort GT wheels 15x5.5 and HEAVY). If anyone was wondering 15" vs 14" Azenis are a huge difference, I am now shopping for wheels.
This weekend was a lot of fun, beautiful weather, lots of runs and my wife is now bitten by the autocross bug in a big way. Could it be any better?
