Well decided to take the car out to have a bit of fun last night. Corey R calls and wants to hang out. We set to go across the selmon and we get an opening. He signals 3 honks , so beep beep beep, he's off. I wait about 1 second and then stab the gas , start creeping right away since he has 2 cars out and then walk past him , how far not sure? The car was acting wierd plus traffic seem to get close real quick.

So I noticed a hesitation while running Corey and hit the gas to go around a car and see if the problem is still there? Well on the decel pop pop pop, huge flames out the exhaust. Next the car shuts down 100% and then will not turn over, good night opti I think????????????

check the coil... my coil ground bolt came loose and did the same thing.. just a thought before you go slap a new opticrap on

Yeah thanks for the advise and concern , tomorrow will tell , Rev xtreme is on it , Dino followed the tow truck in the middle of the night so we could push it inside then carted me around and took me home, #1 service provided. I hope the opti was just junk and that's the only issue!

Ended up the opti seemed to vibrate the 2 little screws inside loose. We got a new opti, and 'secured' those two screws... they're going nowhere... where they goin'? NOWHERE!!! :D
