They're not bad. We have 2 12's in a custom box on display at Sound Advice...they jam pretty damn good. Come by and take a listen if you're interested.

Never heard a elemental design sub, but all the hifonics amps I have heard sound so dirty. More of a SPL amp.

you just have to break in polk subs. I blew two but the second pair I never blew since I broke them in
Hifonics amps being durty? Ive never had a problem with their amps. Ive always had compliments of how tight my sub was for a 15" and it was ran by a 1500 hifonics

i think im just gonna get the polk momo 15's again and have som1 else build me the box, so its done right! i'll break them in and just keep the amp turned down. i also need another battery i think. that was another reason why i think they blew the volts dropped to low when they hit. i heared its not good if they drop below 12 volts.

If your voltage drops when your bass hits, then your amp would make less power till your voltage got back up. It wouldnt hurt anything.

ok i didnt know someone just told me it wasnt good to drop below 12 cause it could hurt the amp and subs. thats what i was told

Other than when your jamming with your car off, another battery is going to do very little. Save your money it put it into a high output alternator if you're having electrical problems.

I was thinking about that! i think thats what im gonna do. you can see the lights dimming nasty when it was hitting and the volt meter was just bouncing like crazy! it would cut out when i stopped somtimes and when i started moving again it came back on.
Go with a high output alt, and make sure the rest of the wires are upgraded too... alt to battery, battery ground etc

Alright i will do that. thanks for all the help! How high of an alt do u think?
